Inspired by a Maui vacation in 2005, these pictures and masks pulse with the Aloha spirit. The fronds were found homeless in San Diego - lying in sidewalks, gutters, rooftops and on lawns before being coddled, cleaned, stained and rendered in acrylic. As Michaelangelo said about his work, "The artwork has always existed – I’ve just revealed it." The photos are pieces of my life. I hope you enjoy them. Peter

Heidi and I whom I rescued from Lab Rescuers December of 2005. She's gone now but kept me laughing with incessant kisses and high fives ad nauseum.
